The Hellenic Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ESYNE) of Thessaly organized the 1st Thessalian Wine Festival on March 24, 2018, in Larissa.
The Festival was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, the Ministry of Tourism and the Region of Thessaly and under the scientific auspices of the Association of Greek Oenologists.
Co-organizers were the Chambers of Karditsa, Larissa, Magnesia and Trikala.
The event was supported by the Municipality of Larissa, OESYNE, STHEV (Association of Thessalian Enterprises and Industries) as well as the Network of Wineries of Thessaly.
The purpose of the festival was to highlight the Thessalian wine varieties and Thessalian products in general.
Producers from the 4 prefectures of Thessaly were present and gave us the opportunity to meet and taste their wines as well as to discuss and discover the wealth of Viticultural Thessaly.
Parallel events took place at the Festival, such as specialized workshops and presentations as well as a combination of wines with local products (cheeses and cold cuts).
The Festival, in addition to wine producers, also attracted wine lovers, businessmen, professionals of the wine sector of the wider region of Thessaly.
