Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 20:00, at the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa (Square Laou), the Charity Music Event entitled: «Το Κονσέρτο ενός Παράδοξου Κόσμου».
It is an impressive show directed by Paschalis Mantis, with the famous “flying” pianist, Elena Xydia, in a Piano Concert-Recital, a unique musical battle of Elena with her hologram. His impressive moves hologram in impressive combination with her live performance create a unique audio and visual spectacle, a unique experience that will fascinate the audience.
The initiative belongs to the Association of Friends of the Larissa Mental Health Center and has purpose of raising money for the purchase of a car for the purposes of Mobile Mental Health Units for Children-Adolescents and Adults of Larisa.
The event is held in collaboration with the Municipality of Larissa and the General Larissa Hospital.

On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Joist Innovation Park (Valtetsiou & Tripoleos), in Larissa, the presentation event of the innovative spasticity management product “EXOPULSE Mollii Suit” will take place, in the context of the latest developments and innovations in Prosthetic and Orthotic Rehabilitation .

The company Efthimioulab, in collaboration with the company Ortholife, introduce the Mollii costume to the public of Central Greece. It is an innovative, non-invasive and drug-free application of electrical stimulation to the entire body for the management of spasticity.

It is suitable for children and adults with spasticity or other forms of movement disorders. Its purpose is to improve the functionality of the user by reducing the unwanted consequences of the respective condition. Unlike many neurostimulation techniques, which only focus on symptomatic muscles, the Exopulse Mollii Suit relieves spasticity and associated pain by stimulating the weakened antagonists of the spastic muscle. This approach helps to reactivate the signals that naturally inhibit hyperreflexive muscle activity, causing the spastic muscles to relax. It concerns patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury.

The presentations will be made by Mr. Dimitris Efthimiou, Prosthetic-Orthodontist, CEO of Efthimioulab and Mr. Eleftherios Samiotis, Prosthetist-Orthodontist, graduate of Salford University and CEO of Ortholife.

The first presentation day of the project was successfully held on Tuesday, November 7, in the local culture exhibition hall of Elassona:
“TherMaSheep: Application of infrared thermography (thermal camera) technologies as a means of rapid diagnosis of subclinical mastitis”.

Specialist professionals analyzed the ways to manage mastitis, the hygiene rules that must be applied in livestock units and the measures that producers must take to prevent and avoid the spread of this disease.
They also analyzed the importance of mastitis diagnosis in the laboratory and urged the producers present to contribute to the results of the project by involving their livestock unit in the individual implementation actions of the project.
The conference was held with the support of the Municipality of Elassona.
The project is implemented and co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) of the European Union and national resources through the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 (RDP) (operation code Μ16ΣΥΝ2-00202).

On Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 16:00, in the Auditorium of the Physiotherapy Department of the University of Thessaly, in the SEY Building, at the 3rd km of the Old Lamia-Athens National Road, in Lamia, the Department of Informatics with Applications in Biomedicine and the Department of Physiotherapy , organizes a Conference entitled “SMART TOURIST: Smart Research Infrastructures for Accessible and Healthy Human-Centered Cultural-TOURISTIC Development in Central Greece”.

The purpose of the “INTELLIGENT TOURIST” project is the development of research infrastructures, which will strengthen research and innovation in the field of culture and tourism in Central Greece, focusing on people, in order to create the conditions for scientific excellence at a global level and innovative business activity in the area.

The project is based on an entirely innovative concept, which puts the most advanced artificial intelligence technologies at the service of culture and tourism. Specifically, it installs computing infrastructures, and infrastructures for monitoring the health and well-being of tourists for the development of smart services, which will serve tourism by offering:

– Enhanced web browsing experience

– Enhanced experience of using tourist infrastructure or on-site tour

– Enhanced experience for users/visitors with disabilities (PWD)

The results of the project, which include unique, original cutting-edge technological achievements, will be presented at the Conference. The event is organized and coordinated by Dr. D. Iakovidis, Professor of the Department of Informatics with Applications in Biomedicine and Dr. N. Stribakos, Professor of the Department of Physiotherapy and participating bodies of the Region of Central Greece. It is open to the public, and is recommended to be attended by interested parties, including business and public organizations, as well as the academic community as a whole.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Action “RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE”, which is co-financed by national funds (through the EP Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation – EPANEK, NSRF 2014-2020) and by community funds (European Union, European Regional Development Fund) (project code MIS 504724).

💧 Presentation of the “Nitreos Aquatic” Project: Estimation of the real nitrogen needs of rice cultivation, with applications of ground observation data, to reduce leaching and surface runoff of nitrogen and the protection of the aquatic environment”
📣Yesterday, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the presentation day of the Project “Nitreos Aquatic: Assessment of the real nitrogen needs of rice cultivation, with earth observation data applications, to reduce nitrogen leaching and surface runoff and protect the aquatic environment”, in the hall of the TOEB Mikros Monastiriou.
The conference was attended by stakeholders and local producers as well as representatives of the corporate structure which consists of: Open Mellon – Education – Consulting – Business Incubator SA (Coordinating partner), the company AgroApps, ELGO Dimitra / Institute of Soil and Water Resources and the Group of Producers Agricultural Enterprises of Mikros Monastiri II IKE.
The aim of the project is to protect the aquatic environment through the control of nitrogen quantities during fertilization in rice crops.
The day was welcomed by the head of the Producers’ Group, Mr. Dionysis Geltsos, and the Mayor of Chalkidona, Mr. Stavros Anagnostopoulos, who emphasized the importance of implementation of the project in the wider region as well as the contribution of the Program to the interconnection of research with production through the pilot implementation of projects and the cooperation of entities active in the agricultural sector sector, with the aim of strengthening the sustainability and productivity of agriculture, protecting the environment and adapting to climate change.
The floor was taken by Mr. Sotiris Serdenis, representative of Open Mellon, who presented the general elements of the project, the objectives and the implementation methodology of the proposed actions.
This was followed by the presentation of Mr. Vassilis Ashonitis, appointed researcher of ELGO Dimitra, regarding the management of nutrients and cultivation practices in rice cultivation.
The conference program was concluded with the presentation of Mrs. Panagiota Dassiou, Agronomist – AgroApps, on the optimization of inputs in rice cultivation using the NITREOS digital platform, and with a discussion of the participants regarding the practical application of what was mentioned in their crops.

🌱 Presentation of the Project “Nitreos Cotton: Production of standardized cotton using the NITREOS integrated precision agriculture system” 📣On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the presentation of the Project “Nitreos Cotton: Production of standardized cotton using the NITREOS integrated precision agriculture system” took place in the hall of the TOEB Mikro Monastiri. The aim of the project is to improve fertilization and irrigation practice in cotton production systems on farms in Central Macedonia Region by providing the appropriate digital tools in the form of an integrated application that collects and processes time series of satellite images to assess the needs of the crop of cotton in nutrients data.
ELGO Dimitra / Institute of Soil and Water Resources (Coordinating partner), the company AgroApps (AgroApps), the company Open Mellon – Education – Consulting – Business Incubator SA and the Group of Producers Agricultural Enterprises of Mikro Monastiri III IKE.
The day was welcomed by the head of the Producers Group Mr. Christos Koronas and the Mayor of Chalkidona Mr. Stavros Anagnostopoulos who emphasized the importance of implementation of the project in the wider region as well as the contribution of the Program to the promotion of the cooperation of the agencies active in the agricultural sector for the interconnection of research with production through the pilot application of good practices.
Next, the representative of Open Mellon, Mr. Vassilis Avramoudis, presented the object, the intended goals and the methods of implementing the project. This was followed by the presentation of Mr. Vassilis Ashonitis, commissioned researcher of ELGO Dimitra, who focused on the issues of nutrient management and cultivation practices applied to cotton cultivation. The program of the conference was concluded with the presentation of Mr. Minas Verberis, Agronomist – AgroApps, on the ways of enhancing the production of standardized cotton through the NITREOS digital platform. Mr. Verberis mentioned the benefits of using the NITREOS system and fully analyzed how it works to the participants.
The event was attended by representatives of the corporate structure as well as local producers, who had the opportunity to be informed about the project and how this can be applied to their crops. The Spirito Group undertook the organization of two original musical events with the excellent musician-pianist Elena Xidia in the city of Mytilini.

On Saturday, July 1, in the port of Mytilini, we will open the biggest festival in the Aegean, with a spectacular event in the sea. Elena Xydia will musically render ZORBA with her piano on a large sailing ship accompanied by dancers, who will dance to the rhythms of her music on sailing ships, in order to present the “Greatest Sirtaki in the Aegean”, with the port of city.

On Monday, July 2nd, in the castle of Mytilini, the musical show “The piano battle: Elena Vs Elena”, an impressive piano concert-recital, a unique musical battle of Elena Xydia with her hologram, will take place. Today, Friday, June 16, 2023, in Limassol, at the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK), the Final Conference entitled “Upgrading wastewater treatment facilities to manage growing needs and reduce operating costs, with the acronym “ANELIXI” began.
The conference aims to present the results of the application of innovative technology for the upgrade of overloaded Wastewater Treatment Plants (WTPs) in Greece and Cyprus, with reduced installation and operating costs by the Polytechnic of Crete, the Kyperountas Sewerage Council and the Paros Municipal Water Supply & Sewerage Company .
Our specialized team is in the city of Limassol from Monday for the final tasks of organizing and conducting the Conference, guaranteeing the smooth & successful conduct of every stage of the event.

The Association of Industries of Thessaly & Mainland Greece is organizing the Annual Regular General Assembly for the year 2023, which will be held in the city of Volos, on Friday, June 9, with an arrival time of 7:30 p.m., in the ERGON SHOWGROUND EVENT HALL, of the Tsalapata Complex.

With the official guest speaker, the Vice-President of the European Commission, Mr. Margaritis Schina, the central theme of this year’s General Assembly of the Association will focus on ‘Europe and Regional Development’.
